Hatha Yoga 30 (Trinshat)

Asanas were first taught by lord Shiva to his consort, the goddess Parvati.
Asanas are practiced in order to achieve physical stability and steadiness. Hatha yoga has two purposes 1. Removal of sufferings and 2. Providing base for all types of asanas.

According to the tradition there are Eighty-four lakh (8,400,000) asanas, out of these, there eighty-four(84) main asanas which are sufficient to practice.

Hatha Yoga Trinshat (30) consist 30 such asanas from these 84 asanas that are very beneficial to keep the energy flowing in the body and keeps the body powerful, balance and in control that removes chances of illnesses to a person.
